Assault IV/Strangulation (DV)- Officers responded to a report of a domestic disturbance in the 3400 block of NE Lancaster. Warrant Arrest An officer observed a male on the property of a residence in the 1100 block of NW 13th St in the early hours of the morning. Shoplift- An officer was at a business in the 500 block of NE Circle Blvd when an employee reported a theft that occurred the day prior. The merchandise was recovered and the male suspect was arrested for Robbery III and taken to jail, the female was issued a citation for Conspiracy to commit Theft III and released. The male had multiple warrants for his arrest as well. A 45-year-old male was arrested for violating the order and for charges from a different investigation. The male was previously trespassed from the store. Threats- A female Corvallis resident reported a male Corvallis resident made concerning and threatening statements to her. She was placed into custody and later released with citations for the warrants. He was taken to jail and booked. The suspect then fled the area and was not able to be located. The female had outstanding warrants for her arrest and was issued citations in lieu of custody. Warrant arrest- a 57 year old male with no fixed address was taken into custody on a Linn County Circuit Court warrant (FTA- Criminal Mischief 1) after being contacted near NW 12th ST/NW Monroe Avenue as a suspicious person. Warrant arrest- A 36 year old male with no fixed address was cited on a Benton County Circuit Court warrant (FTA-PCS meth) after being contacted on a suspicious person complaint in the 5500 block of SW Philomath Blvd. The victim found their bicycle outside of the restaurant after it was stolen 6 months prior. The suspect was taken to the LEC and issued citations. The male was contacted and issued a citation in lieu of custody on an outstanding warrant. The male was contacted and taken into custody for Criminal Trespass II. Disorderly Conduct II Officers responded to the 1400 block of NW Monroe Av for a female throwing items in the store. The officer observed the male was impaired and he admitted to smoking marijuana prior to driving. The suspect, a 48-year-old male Corvallis resident, was contacted and arrested for the violation. The male was taken into custody, after being cleared by CFD and later issued a citation in lieu of custody. A male suspect was caught on a doorbell camera. At the LEC, the male was issued a citation due to jail protocols. Trespass 1 Officers responded to a residence in the 1600 block of NW Forestgreen Ave for a report of a burglary in progress that just occurred. The female was taken into custody for violating the Release Agreement. The individual had active warrants for his arrest out of Corvallis Municipal Court; he was issued citations and released. The investigation revealed a male and female shopped in the store before selecting a chain and presenting payment with a credit card. The business did not wish to pursue charges for the theft. Tampering w/Property Officers were dispatched to the 900 block of NW Jackson Ave for the report of a suspicious incident from the night prior. Violent Conduct Officers were dispatched to the 500 block of SW Monroe Avenue for the report of a 32 year old male, Hillsboro Resident, who was trying to start fights with multiple people. A 42 y/o female Corvallis resident was contacted and issued a Special Response Notice for Disorderly Conduct. The officer observed large amounts of garbage and property strewn around a vehicle being lived in that was impeding pedestrian traffic. Conflicting accounts of events, and a lack of evidentiary information prevented criminal enforcement action. She suspected she lost her keys the previous night and she believed someone found them and subsequently stole the vehicle. The caller reported multiple incidents of people prying open a gated area and moving items around and trespassing on his property. The male was issued citations in lieu of custody for the incident. The car had previously been impounded as a traffic hazard and was released to the owner. Officers learned a 32-year-old Corvallis resident got into an argument with the caller.
